About

“We’re the stampede, your the movement” Florida’s Stampede Movement was born with the strong roots required for career success. A featured band at numerous surfing competitions and musical festivals around the world The Stampede Movement has been grown into a wildly popular underground fan favorite. Although the young group was formed only a few short years ago, the individual members each came from successful backgrounds in poetry and music.
With members hailing from diverse backgrounds as far flung as the United Kingdom, Jamaica, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brooklyn, Virginia, and Florida, the band’s music definitely reflects the diversity of cultural backgrounds each band member brings to the table. Combining a deep connection to their community and social and environmental causes with an infectious high voltage blend of hip hop, slam poetry, soaring rock and roll harmonies, and deep reggae rythms, The Stampede Movement’s rise in popularity has been more of an question of when, not if.
If there is one defining characteristic that the entire band shares it’s persistence. Founding a band is no easy task and keeping one together can be even more challenging. Certainly the Stampede Movement has had it’s fair share of lineup changes like any other band but, the deep level of respect each of the current band members have for each other as well as for their former bandmates is palpable. That level of respect and persistence combined with the band’s trademark heart on it’s sleeve passion to leave the world a better place than they found it demonstrates that the Stampede Movement clearly has all the ingredients for career success.
